Haha.. I wanted to buy the Probationary Triangle but didn't want to go back to the driving centre so I asked some ppl where to get them.. Here are their answers..

I love my Reservations Team! This is why.. I'm so damn touched.. It contains $70 as a small gesture from 14 of them to thank us for helping them thruout the 3 months.. It's their own money from the upselling lor.. OMG! It's like not expected at all and what did we ever do to deserve this? Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Love you guys!!!!!!!

MM = Green Hotel..

I wanted to help MM become a Green Hotel but instead I ended up spoiling Siva's printer instead.. Muahaha.. I think I suck.. I wonder how that little contraption is doing right now..

Went early to print some stuff.. Did filing and typed out the invoices.. Left for 1st break and headed to the Uniform Dept to alter the cheongsam.. Damn pekchek over it.. Last Sat- Tried it on but need alteration.. Mon- Went for alteration but the seamstress was on leave.. Tues- Went again for alteration but the seamstress left for something urgent.. Argh!! Finally, it's done today..

Trainee meeting.. Met Wan Yi at the Front Desk and went up with her.. Total loss at where Meeting Suite 835 was.. Talked about the usual stuff and Rebecca asked if anybody wanted to change dept.. Diaoz.. Now then ask after 3 mths.. Haha.. I think TP ppl give up le so the SHATEC ppl were telling her that they don't want to be in Mezebar want to go Triple 3 etc..

So TP stayed back to decide on a proj.. Finally decided that we were all going to do a project tgt on SOP.. Whew! At least thats over with,.. Didn't want to go back to work so slack around the meeting room.. Followed Rebecca back to the office to collect some forms and waited for her to call FO to query what time I'll be starting on Monday.. Found out the Training Centre would be moved to where the combined office of Catering Sales, S&M, Reservations and Telecommunications are.. Cosy eh? Haha..

8 months is an awfully long way to go.. And stop asking what my gamble is.. I'll tell you all when its time k? Haha.. Anyway, it was fun talking to Jo-Lynn now that we realise we have something in common.. Then we can ask questions and worry and get excited tgt.. Haha.. Just that that common thing is in different countries.. And lots of things to do.. But the due date's in May 2008.. So who cares! Haha..

Won the Gamble for now..

Hehe.. I think I've won the gamble for now.. Will update you guys once everything has been settled.. Trying very hard to understand all the documents now..

I'll have to get a new part time job now that I've won it.. Some job that pays me $10/hr like my Mum's.. Gonna be saving lots and lots of money now.. At least $500 a month.. That will make up to be about $3500 by July.. Haiz.. Still not enuff.. Gonna have to study damn hard too.. And only 1 module left..

Utterly shocked but yet very troubled.. Oh no.. Money trouble here we come again.. And payday has just arrived.. Save save!

Flu Bug!

Uh oh.. I think I've caught the flu bug.. Hehe.. Hope it doesn't escalates to become something serious..

I want to eat steamboat.. Badly.. But I haven't the time.. What a waste.. But since I'm on a 10-6 from Mon to Wed and a 9-5 on Fri & Sat.. I'll ensure I'll squeeze time in.. On the brighter side, the uniform dept got me a cheongsam and miricalously, my fat butt decided to concede and alterations only need to be done at the waist.. Yay! Double wow-ness!

Got pangseh-ed by those two sisters to watch Enchanted.. ZzZzZ.. Now I'll have to find company all over again.. Maybe I'll do the loner thing again.. Sounds kinda cool.. Yeah.. Lots of nice nice movies.. No more comp passes.. Boo hoo hoo.. Payday's coming.. Wednesday! Delicious wondeful.. The pocket's getting bare and hanging dry by a thread as we speak..

Boredom is scary.. It turned me into a Final Fantasy 9 player on the PS2.. Haven't touched it in ages.. Gonna pack the PS2 back with me to Aljunied.. Ooh.. Still have like 7 books waiting for me to complete.. Fear behold me that I won't be able to sleep next week..

=D Oh well.. All I can say is Thank You Mr. Tester! And thank the Lords up there.. I think I'm damn lucky.. Really.. Cos I knew I did really bad and the tester was being really lenient.. Hehe.. Now to buy that Yellow Triangle.. Called my Mum who was in China on Holiday with my Dad, Brother and Youngest Sister.. Heard her screaming over the phone.. Haha.. She's even happier than I am.. Lone alone again.. Headed to Plaza Singapura after that to use my last comp pass on Bee Movie.. Tried my luck on that grabbing toy machine and the Winnie the Pooh's head was too fat if not I would have gotten the toy.. =( Bee Movie was a cute show.. I think if I were to choose a job to work for my entire life in a bee hive, it would be Pollenjock too.. Sandy sms-ed to say the trainee meeting was postponed to 28 Nov.. ZzZzZz.. Lucky I was meeting her after her work if not I would have strangled whoever who postponed the meeting.. Came down all the way and postponed.. Saw Rebecca in a bank on the way to Heeren.. I think she saw me too but I was starving.. Headed to Sakae Sushi alone to spend my $20 that Sin Hwee had given me eons ago..

Went to Taka after that to return and borrow library books.. Sandy knocked off worked and we walked around wondering where to go.. Ended up in Cineleisure's KBOX.. Almost 3 mths since I last sang.. 2 ppl and they gave us a 6 ppl room.. Diaoz.. Haha.. But also good.. More space.. Sang from 5pm to 9pm.. Blog song was also introducred by her.. Think it's rather nice.. =D

Work 9am- 5pm tml.. Going to give the cheongsam fitting one last try tml.. If not that's it man.. Going back to Tampines tml..

Disgusting Toilets..

4 cubicles in the female toilet is shared among 4 departments- Catering Sales, Sales & Marketing, Telecommunications and Reservations.. However, usually only 2 are usable.. Why?! Becos the toilet seats are always full of pee at the sides.. Geez.. I'm guessing somebody stands up to pee.. Eeww.. Disgusting can't even start to explain what it looks like.. Haha..

Eliana's husband ordered flowers for her that got delivered to the office.. Their 3rd wedding anniversary.. So sweet! Reminds me of an issue long ago.. Hehe.. The ironic thing is that the Flower Delivery Guy gave her the wrong flowers and had to come back again.. Muahaha..

Went to Brewerkz ytd with the Orangs.. Celebrated Darren's birthday.. Crazy fun and laughter.. We bought him a shirt and 2 boxers with hamburgers and comic designs.. And got him drunk with 2 pulls of beer and 2 shots.. He even covered the flash when he was using Xuemin's polaroid camera to take the pic.. Haha.. Cabbed home..

On AL tml.. Woopeedoo! But I have something really impt to sit for.. The Driving Test.. I have absolutely zilch confidence in passing it.. Haiz.. So worried now.. I'll try my best.. Pray hard that I'll get below 18 pts please.. Have to rush back for trainee meeting after that too.. Sianz.. Lots of nice movies to watch now.. Haha..

Anyway, something I want to vent out.. It sucks being the only trainee left in the whole dept.. Getting suan-ed- "So you're going to run the whole dept by yourself today?".. I'm not ok? It just so happens that one of the officers happen to go on AL so I have to do faxes.. It just so happens that I just learnt how to reply email ytd so I have to reply them today also.. It just so happen that someone happen to come and dump all the GDS bookings in front of me.. It just so happens that people start to call me to do this and that.. It just so happens that I'm sitting nearest to the Billing Fax file that's why I have to do photocopying and filing.. It just so happen that I'm the only one left so I have to do filing alone.. I'M NOT TRYING TO RUN THE WHOLE DEPT! I'M JUST A BLOODY TRAINEE! I'm already so tied up with the crazy amount of faxes coming in and people still ask you to do something so easy as photocopying.. It's not even urgent.. Haiz.. 12 days more.. Sometimes I wonder what if I had picked the other date instead.. =(

SIP doesn't just include working at a place.. It also include 4 E-journals, a Portfolio & a Project.. And news flash everybody! I havent' started on the latter two yet.. Oh.. I'm like so gonna fail SIP.. Haha..

Work was at 12pm but I reached at 915am.. Wanted to try the cheongsam.. The auntie shoo-ed me away and told me to come back at 10am.. ZzZzZz.. Dismay dismay.. They didn't have my size.. It's like a wakeup call for me.. You know? Yan Wan, start losing weight! Oh yeah! But California Fitness doesn't allow minors under 21 into their gym so boo hoo hoo.. I'm stuck to swimming and those non gym exercises.. Boring..

Well, Rebecca called today and requested for me and Sandy to be up at Front Office asap.. It was a special request from Meyen, some FO Assistant Manager.. He needed as much staff as possible to cover the peak period in Dec.. However, Gina's not going to let me and Sandy leave tgt.. 1 of us will start there on 19th Nov and the other on 3rd Dec.. So, we drew lots and I got Dec 3.. Kind of a blessing in a disguise as well.. Cos I applied AL on 23 Nov for my Driving Test and if I go to FO next Monday, I may not be able to get that AL again.. Oh well.. Lonely.. I am so lonely.. I have nobody.. *Hamster singing*

Mega Spring Cleaning~!

Ch 5 has been showing Titanic for ages.. It's showing it again.. ZzZzZz.. Part 2 tml.. Gosh.. Like whatever..

Sandy & I became coolies at work today.. Mega Spring Cleaning.. Cleared the storeroom today of the 2006 booking forms.. Carried 10kg boxes wearing blazers, skirts, stockings and court shoes.. Come on ppl, salute us! Haha.. Spotted 1 dead cockcroach and 1 dead moth.. Kok Kiong took them out for us cos we were too scared.. So there we were, moving stuff here and there for close to 3 hours..

Nowhere to go after work.. Saw Wei Lun & Serene in the canteen.. I didn't realised the canteen served the same dishes for both lunch and dinner.. Mega ewww-ness.. Saw Cherie in the locker room.. Decided to go to Dhoby Ghaut tgt for some shopping and dinner.. Ate Mac.. Caught up.. Gossipped.. Haha.. Shopped around.. Bought a birthday card for somebody- 21/11.. But that's not all..

Hehe.. I have a few plans after graduation.. 1) Apply for "The Happiest Place on Earth" 2) SIM 3) Go Taiwan to work for my father's friend 4) Dunno lah..

They gave us sweets and we took pics.. Waiting for them to send.. Took pics with Anilia too.. Can't wait for her to send.. You guys can then see how alike we look..

Work on Sat.. Lunch @ Pasta Mania cos canteen food sucked.. Haha.. Went swimming again.. OFF on Sunday.. Precious Precious OFF.. Lunch @ Pepper Lunch.. Loned by myself after that.. Decided to watch Stardust @ GVTM.. Super brilliant movie.. Wonder why it was never marketed well.. Left only 1 comp pass.. *Sadded*

Gina told me and Sandy something on Monday that left us really touched.. She could have easily said that she needed us but she gave us the choice.. Defintely one of the best bosses in the world..

Feel like applying to "The Happiest Place on Earth" to work after graduation.. Haha.. Guess where? It's not in Singapore.. Nearest is in Hong Kong.. It's been my dream ever since I've been to that place in Sec 4 after "O's".. Thinking about it makes me drool.. Haha.. Must apply must apply.. 4 more months till graduation.. Woopeedoo!

I miss Chicken Rice..

I need to fight more battles more often.. Today's was enuff to kill me.. I can't imagine if I had worked a full 8hr45mins shift.. Haha.. Didn't even have time for lunch.. So I went to lone by myself and walked to Banquet to eat the chicken rice.. Eh.. I hardly get to eat chicken rice k? Everyday is white rice, one meat, two veg, one fruit and soup.. If we prefer, got Salad and cream soup.. But 6 days a week for 5 months.. Sianz one k? Haha..

Fire Drill~!

Snoopy is lousy.. Just that short walk and she's panting already.. And she comes home and drops to the floor and sleeps.. ZzZzZzZ.. So much for helping her lose weight.. Haha..

In the midst of all the upselling, Stanton comes to inform that there will be fire drill somewhere in the middle of the afternoon.. And he started appointing ppl to go and represent Reservations.. Actually, the whole dept was supposed to be there but who cares? Haha.. The 1st alarm went but nobody was fizzled.. Didn't quite bother since there were so many things to do.. But one S&M lady was getting so excited about it.. ZzZzZz..

The second alarm went.. So Gina, Carey, Mingfa, Stanton, Amanda, Sandy & I went and "represent".. Found out another secret way of exiting MM.. Good way to smuggle food in too.. Hehe.. Ppl on the street were looking at us like we were a circus.. Haha.. But the whole marching out to Taka area kinda looked like a strike.. Had ice cream on the way back.. Mingfa treated.. Saw a number of fellow trainees including Valerie, Jianli, Camille, Szemin, Simin, Cherie and Wanyi..

They even have a banner for it.. ZzZzZz..

Esp about a GM having to change his own hotel lobby's lightbulb and presenting the blown one to his Chief Engineer.. Haha.. Learn something today "Better Shape Up or Shape Out".. And other stories like the flushing from Room 1101 and the "stuff" appearing in Room 1102.. Haha.. Kinda envy Claire for having such a great internship programme.. But then again, it's tough having to go through 5 interviews to get it.. Mr. Zainal gave me another hope.. I don't dare to think much about it cos..

Out with the Orangs after that.. Headed to Far East for Subway.. Freezing place.. The 707 ppl had to go back to work so left the few of us.. Went shopping at Mango, Zara, Fox etc. And we went on to try on the same shirt.. And XL tried on the Zara's 3 inch high heels.. Went to eat Crystal Jade's La Mian Xiao Long Bao.. Pre-ordered Jay Chou's new album.. Changed my mind.. Don't think I wanna go his concert liaoz.. Buy DVD cheaper.. Haha..

I think there's just something special about Reservations.. Everytime I start to feel really bored, interesting events are bound to happen to get me hyped up about the job again.. Haha.. And thank you Gina for the wonderful schedule next week.. =D

Reached work and saw Katherine searching through past complimentary room order forms.. I think she gave up seaching and asked us where we put our Feb 2007 forms.. FEB?! It's in the dark dark storeroom so we went to it.. FYI, the DDS is filled with boxes and boxes stacked with forms.. Couldn't lift the boxes on my own and couldn't possibly ask her to help too.. The lady's gonna be a mummy next year.. It's like asking Amber to carry a sack of raw corn.. Haha..

Carey was on A/L so Sandy and I took turns to do the faxes and upselling.. Funny session of asking "How to do this ah?" Haha.. Headed over to the Training Centre to get our new badges.. So tiny.. Lost- $5.. ZzZzZ.. Had to OT a while cos the faxes were never ending.. Loan Shark-ed again and pressed some travel agencies for payment.. I think they have no money to pay lah..

Some Catering Sales person came over and asked me to search the system for a "Kim Tan" of Mediacorp.. She wanted to change the room from a Grand Tower Premier to a South Tower Premier.. But special arrangements (Champagne, Flowers etc) were already done in the room so I couldn't do anything.. She can go and argue with FO and HSKP for all I care.. Haha..

Dinner @ Jacob's Cafe at Changi Village with my mum, dad and brother.. I love that place.. Good food, big portion and hurting on the pocket.. Haha.. But I'm not the one paying.. =p I seriously need to watch a new movie.. The last one I watched was "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry".. Haha..

I caught the HSM Concert on Ch 5 last night.. I'm so lucky.. Haha.. I wish I was there.. Rima bought a HSM mag for her daughter.. I took it to read immediately explaning to Ming Fa and the others about the show.. Gina complained that we sounded like a fish market.. Haha..

Gina approved my leave for 23 Nov.. Yay! It's a very important day, you know? Went to give the form to Rebecca after lunch but she wasn't around so I just left it on her table.. Headed back to office to see Sylvia and Wei Qi excited about going back to school.. =( I want to go back to school too.. Saw them again after work with Anilia so they presumed the "sisters" were going home tgt.. Haha.. Saw Wei Lun & Serene in the canteen.. Talked to them for a while.. They now have this "mutual understanding" btw them.. Haha..

Bummer.. The train route from Newton to Marina Bay was out of service.. ZzZzZ.. Peak hour somemore.. WTH.. So I couldn't transfer to the EW line at all.. Cabs were all "Hired" and I didn't know what bus I could take back to my Great- Grandma's place.. Even the bus stops were overflowing with ppl.. Meaning: I'M STUCK IN ORCHARD ROAD.. Was on the verge of crying lah.. Tired and hungry after a long day's work.. I sms-ed my mum as I was feeling so helpless and she told me my dad was stuck too.. One taxi uncle even rejected to take me when I flagged his "Un-hired" cab.. Walked to Orchard MRT and saw Anilia again.. Haha.. Trains were out of service for at least an hour.. =(

Bless the kind and HOT Malay guy who let me board his cab after combing the streets about 30 mins.. Haha.. He didn't look like a Taxi Driver at all.. More like a California Fitness instructor.. Haha.. My dad happend to be at Far East Plaza so route over to pick him up.. If not he'll have to wait for a bus all the way back to Tampines.. Haha.. That also means I don't have to pay the taxi fare.. =p

I want to go to Jay Chou's concert but the tickets are almost sold out.. And mind you, the concert's on 18 & 19 Jan 2008.. Haha.. Okie.. Good Night Moo- Putts~!
