Anyway, it's also been 1 week since I've last watched TV.. Sarah, please come back fast ok? I'm desperate for TV.. Hehe..

Having break from IT lesson now.. The breaks here are like 20mins.. Plenty of time to rest.. Haha.. Had a guest lecturer for Human Resource lesson just now.. Someone from the Solomons Island.. Admiring her for being able to stay there.. Not easy..

Got another note from the reception that I've received another parcel! And it's from Sin Hwee! Love that girl.. =) Thank you! And after this I can confirm that a parcel from Singapore takes 1 week to arrive inclusive of weekends.. Looking forward to receiving more of them.. Hopefully.. Hehe..

Weird Dream..

11 days and counting.. Where is my bloody internet? =(

Nothing much to say today.. Lessons, lessons and more lessons.. Had 3 2 hours lectures today from 9am to 5pm.. And degree is really tough.. I don't really understand the textbooks which is quite scary to know.. I think I'll need to do more reading.. And I have at least 2 assignments due every week.. Well, at least there isn't any much projects just a lot of essays.. But I'm starting to worry that I can't keep up.. Truth be told, I'm either the youngest or one of the youngest in the entire Degree cohort.. Comforting words will be that my brain is not developed enough yet.. I guess another thing that I'm worried about is the assignment standards.. I have a feeling what the lecturers want here are going to be different from the expectations back in Singapore.. Shoots man..

And dreadful weather we're having today though.. Cloudy morning and afternoon followed by rain in the evening dropping the temperature drastically.. I'm surprised I survived wearing only 1 jacket and slippers.. Hehe..

Anyway, I had some sort of a weird dream a few days ago.. Hmm.. Lemme recall how it started.. I was back in Singapore (*grins) for some holiday or something along that line then I was at Changi Airport on my way to Hong Kong for my internship I think.. But I delayed in going in and when I rushed to the gate, I saw the plane taking off right in front of me.. Then the gate staff were like shaking their heads and telling me that the next flight is 320pm.. (It surprised me that I can even remember the time..) Haha.. So I walked around and met my friends inside the transit area?? We sat down and had a cup of coffee.. Then it was time for my 320pm flight and when I went to the gate, the staff pulled me to a corner and told me that my flight ticket is not valid cos I didn't get it changed.. Then they told me that someone will wait for me at the HK airport to get my seat number?? (It was a 4 digit number! Should have rmb it to let my mum buy.. Only rmb it starting with 5..) and I'll have to email it back to Singapore.. Haha.. Seriously, I didn't know what the dream was about but something to do with flights bahz.. Haha..

Ok lah.. Gotta get down to do some research liao.. Timetable is quite sucky tml.. Only 1 lesson from 3-4pm.. Waste my time sia.. Ok bye!

Hello all!

It's officially 10 days since I last had internet in my room.. And whenever I complain to the reception, they always say. "We'll have to wait for Jim".. And God knows when he'll come.. Dratz..

AEM lesson got cancelled today cos the lecturer was not on campus meaning we have 3 hours of free time! So Aisah and I went to the library to get research for our assignments.. The library is pretty small and doesn't have proper power points and wireless internet connection.. At times like these I sure miss TP's Library.. That big 11-storey building..

But it's a haven of hospitality books though.. I'm sure the HTM students would be thanking the heavens if they are here.. Haha.. The first hour was kinda uneventful with not much luck in generating info for my report but just when I've started the crapping mood, time to go for lunch.. This always happens..

Boring lecture after that.. The Degree Manager came halfway inside to look for 3 students and I was one of them.. Scared the hell out of me but after that I just realised he needed my email address for some workbased project thing.. Heng ah..

Anyway, I got a big surprise back at the hostel today.. A note was left in my mailbox saying I have a parcel waiting for me at the reception.. So happy sia! And it was a huge parcel.. I saw Huiying's name on it and I knew it was from the Orangs!

Opening it.. Ooh.. A leg.. Haha..

Tadah! A teddy bear from Build-A-Bear Workshop! His name is quite a long one.. Ausingaporang! Haha.. I'll just call it Aussy for short.. I love that cute little bear boxer..

And it even has a birth certificate.. "Stuffed with hugs by The Orangs".. Aww..

It's home but I folded it back into my luggage and kept Aussy on my bed.. Haha..

Oh yeah.. Guess I better start blogging about an overdue entry.. Beilin's 20th Birthday.. Quite a long long time ago really.. Haha.. Can't rmb the full details.. Sorry.. Just rmb picking Ayuni & Beilin up before deciding on places to eat.. Finally settled at Cafe Cartel.. Sarah and Cherie came to join soon.. Weilun in camp.. Haha..

And I bought this Rainie Yang poster as a special birthday present for Beibei! Hope she likes it.. =)

And something got us all excited that day.. Haha.. Sarah received a note from a waiter.. He said some customer who left the restaurant wanted to pass this note to her.. Haha.. It reads, "Hi, do you mind if I have your number? Ian 9xxxxxxx".. Haha.. So funny can..

Ok.. Gotta do some proper research for the assignment now.. Wanna sleep early today sia.. Tml 9-5 again.. But the good thing is that they've changed the timetable and I've a very slack timetable.. Haha.. Will update more soon.. And I shall try to tell a little story about my school life or hostel life everyday..

Today's dinner, there was Chicken Char Kway Teow and Linguinne with Tomato and Spinach sauce.. The kway teow and linguinne was of the same noodle.. Haha.. So was it kway teow or linguinne? Answer is.. both were linguinne.. Damn.. Haha.. I want real kway teow..

Gorge Wildlife Park

Hello all!

A very eventful Sunday today.. =)

Put our names down for the excursion to Gorge Wildlife Park about a week ago but it got cancelled due to rain.. But we finally managed to go today! Happy! Put our names down for the Horseriding trip next week as well.. Haha.. Hope I get my assignments done before that though..

Anyway, it was a long winding trip up to the park.. 45mins to be exact.. Not as cold as we predicted it to be though.. The representative from RIH got us some kind of special priority access and we went to hug the koalas first.. Hehe..

Lunch was provided for us.. But it was either a choice of chicken breast & salad or tomato pasta with salad.. Either way I'll never get full.. So I got the chicken one instead.. But some kind of pita bread was passed around though and shared 1/4 with Aisah.. But I like that cordial drink they gave us too..

Another long drive back to the hostel.. Got a headache by the winding roads and some people behind playing rock music.. Plan was to sleep for the afternoon but decided to catch up on my HK dramas instead.. Lent Jia my hard disks for her to copy stuff.. Read 1 chapter of Applied Events Mgmt and slept for about 10mins before I was awaken by housemates to go for dinner..

Oh by the way, after a boring lazy Saturday morning & afternoon yesterday, we watched a movie again that night.. The Notebook.. Plan was not to cry in front of my new friends (scared paiseh mahz) but I couldn't help it.. And I ended up being the tear-iest after Aisah.. Haha.. I love movie nights!

20th Birthday Celebration

Hello all!

It's a bright Saturday morning! No school! Yay! Wanted to sleep in today but got awaken cos the room got so cold.. The heater was off.. Then I realised the entire apartment had no electricity.. Dratz.. Blackout.. Housemates all still sleeping.. Called reception and went down to the laundry room to turn the power back on.. Decided to go for breakfast anyway.. Ingrid woke up as well so we went tgt.. That reminds me, I haven't done my laundry yet.. Got full load today.. Dratz..

Anyway, the lovely housemates and friends celebrated my birthday yesterday.. Hehe.. Did some shopping str8 after class.. Bought some lightbulbs, instant noodles, drinks, body lotion, 2 flats, a pair of jeans and developed 20 photos for A$5.80.. Met up with Celine & Ingrid and off we go to Chinatown to meet the rest.. Coincidentally met Aisyah and Paulina at the tram stop too..

Adelaide's Chinatown! Very small sia.. Seems there's nothing to do in Adelaide liaoz.. Been to Chinatown twice this week and thrice to the city.. Gosh.. Haha..

Looks like everybody else went shopping eh.. Haha.. What to do.. Now Adelaide got big sale!

We had a bit of leftover food so I introduced them to "Zhong Ji Mi Ma".. Haha.. Easiest way to clean off the food.. Haha.. The girls were so nice to treat me to the dinner.. Thank you!

Jia wanted to bring us to a good dessert place so we left after paying the bill.. On the way, we stopped in a boutique kind of shop for a look.. The lady boss got really interested in my scarf when I told her I bought it at Daiso for $2.. Haha.. Then she started to introduce the concept of her shop to us and coincidentally, her birthday was on 24th July! Just one day after mine.. Haha.. Jia bought a dress from there..

Man.. I didn't know I studied law.. Haha.. Come find me k? I charge real cheap de.. Haha..

The dessert place is called Sugerbowl.. Opened till late.. But the prices are quite exp.. A$6 for a bowl of dessert.. But I guess it was the standard pricing around here..

While waiting for the desserts.. I forgot to tell them that I set my camera to 2 shots for the timer and in the end, Paulina went to get the camera and it ended up taking a picture of her palm.. Haha..

Rushed to the bus stop to catch the 950 bus home if not we have to wait for another half an hour.. And on the way back, the bus broke down after making a turn.. Dratz.. The driver got down and did something to the engine and it came back to life! Haha.. We were kidding that it was Jia's fault becos just 2 days ago, an old lady fell while alighting from the bus and she had to take a long 30mins walk as the driver couldn't drive off and the next bus was not coming very soon as well.. Haha.. Our driver was so cute.. After he came back to his seat he called out, "Are you guys afraid? Don't cry!" Haha..

Changed the lightbulbs in my room with help from my housemates esp Jia.. Thank You! But I bought the wrong type again.. Dratz.. Wanted white light but it was yellow.. Must buy again sia.. Redecorated my whole bulletin board.. Pics below..

Oh by the way, on the way back from school, we saw a whole hoard of students gathering at the car park and 2 fire engines at the entrance of the Hospitality Centre.. Heard from John that someone set fire to the toilet.. Haha.. Bo liao sia.. This picture was taken from my room so you can't really see the students..

Now for a peek into my student life here in Aussie! Haha..

My newly redesigned billboard.. Haha.. Spent 1 hr on it sia.. I was too lazy to change the pics regularly for the 306's card so I just paste them all on a piece of paper and included them up on my board.. Haha.. Do I look like a homesick person?

Man.. If my parents saw this they would wonder if the school actually feeds me sia.. Haha.. This is for the late morning breakfasts and the late night suppers.. Haha..

I tell myself everynight that I must fall in love with my textbooks and include them in my Friendster's Favourite Books category.. Haha..

The daily skincare, bodycare, handcare, feetcare products.. I should really get a proper basket sia..

And the shoes section.. Hehe.. Now got sale so must buy more.. But I bet my parents will flip if they see this sia.. Haha..

And now for a very late entry.. This was before I left for Aussie.. A farewell celebration by 306 at Clarke Quay.. I think we have some pictures at the eating places but cannot find them so I'll just post these very interesting pics.. =]

I forgot what each of us are supposed to do sia.. But I'm gonna get nightmares from Ayuni's eyes sia.. Haha..
