OK.. let's start with the accounting paper.. kinda stunned by the paper cos the MCQ was quite messy and there were so many calculations that needed to be done in Section B.. and left my sweater in the bag so kept shivering as i was doing the paper.. but still managed to get thru it.. after went to Business Park to eat lunch.. Its been a long time since we last had food from the business canteen and I saw Ms. Virginia Cheng.. she was my Communication Skills teacher for 2 whole semesters.. haha.. after that we went to library to study lodging and we were kinda freaked out by the past year paper's questions as they were quite irrelevant to what was being taught to us this semester.. at first we thot it could be that Revi Nair changed the syllabus this year around thats why what we learnt was so different..
so it was time for the lodging paper.. Kinda surprised that Sakinah's name was still in the register.. she had already left like almost 4 months ago.. hmm.. anyway, the moment we were given reading time to read the paper, you could see a common expression among everybody: STUNNED! i was like shocked when i saw the paper and the questions lah.. almost all the questions were not based on the lecture notes that Revi Nair gave us lah.. all the questions are those if you can crap, you can answer, if you can't, you're just dead as simple as that.. I was saying that even if you burned all the lecture notes and swallow them also no use lah.. Cos nth came from there.. and Shaun commented that got at least 5 marks of the paper is from lecture notes.. The question on Service Recovery.. but that was the only one lah.. u dun even have to go to Lodging lectures to attend this exam paper lah.. Argh! so pissed with Revi Nair.. and there were short answer question on definitions.. What is a discrepant room? What is OOO? What is due out? What is a rack rate? What is roll over? Diaoz.. we didnt even learn all these lah.. and most of the questions also came out from the project and OPERA.. i was quite dumbfounded when it came to the quesiton on the project.. Name 3 significant aspects of a lodging establishment that you have come across while doing your project on the Carindale Singapore? HUH? I BEG YOUR PARDON? Ans: I learnt about the organisational structure of a hotel.. Duh.. and now what? *faint*
right after the paper, Shermain immediately turned around and asked me whether i knew the meaning of dead.. I knew now.. And Revi Nair still had the cheek to walk around outside the examination rooms after the paper.. See how he's going to answer to the directors when our Lodging results come out.. Hmph! Blehz.. so freaking pissed with the paper.. and its not like i nv studied for it lah.. i did lor and nth came out.. haiz.. To all Hospitality and Tourism Management Freshmen-going-on-to-Juniors students going to take Lodging Systems and Operations in the future, if u are reading this: Dun attend Lodging lectures.. Dun study for exams.. Dun print lecture notes.. Just do ur coursework well..
so yeah, came home after that and helped my mum prepare for a CNY party she's having tml.. prepared sheperd's pie, mushroom soup, mango pudding and cheesecake.. wow.. i'm getting hungry.. after that had no mood to study so went on to watch my TVB dramas.. haha.. then Bernard MSN me from Korea and told me how freaking cold it was there, and the food was nice and that he will help me take photos of 63 Tower in Seoul and bring back original kimchii.. haha.. thanks wor and enjoy yourself.. no need come back le.. muahaha..
ok.. enuff of me being grumpy and all liaoz.. tml is a better day.. hopefully.. and to Uncle Sim and Junwei: Good Luck for your Project 27! i wun be there but i will be morally supporting you both and mugging my lecture notes at the same time wor! hee.. countdown 3 more days to freedom!
