Paris Day 8!

Hello all!

I'm back! Apologies for the absense. I've just started my overnight shifts which begin at 1115pm and end at 745am. And all I think about the moment I come home is sleeping. Haha. The first few days were horrible because of the change in sleeping pattern. But now I've sorta gotten the hang of it. And I kinda like the overnight shifts actually. Not that many guests, easy work (mostly just typing reports) and most importantly, the breaktime meals are superb (Room Service Meals). Haha. And I get to work in so many roles during the overnights including room service staff, bellgirl, car valet, spa attendant, newspaper deliverer etc.

Alright, so now I'll continue on my holiday entry before it gets forgotten completely.

Day 8- 17 April 2009

Didn't sleep the night before due to packing..

Reached the train station that early in the morning. Paris, here I come!

And the hotel we stayed at was the best for the duration of the entire trip. Haha.

And behind door number 1 lies a kitchen! Haha. Saves space and the room can still look exquisite.

We slept the entire afternoon due to not sleeping the night before. Woke up around 6 and walked around the neighbourhood searching for dinner.

Settled for turkish kebab sandwich. Delicious and the lady boss was so nice. Haha.

Since it was still early, we decided to go to the Eiffel Tower. Erm, I dunno how to read the worlds. Hahaha.

And there are just no words to describe the feeling of seeing something so magnificent for the first time. And did I mention that I love this picture? Hahaha.

Did anybody notice what is on top the Eiffel Tower?

Underneath the tower.

Yay!

Attached the starburst filter and realised that it gave the Eiffel Tower a very weird effect.

And we got a shock when we suddenly realised something was sparkling behind us. So starry.

I keep meeting these weird people asking me to take photos for them. Haha.

Oh, and we met some guy who looked like Shia LaBeouf. He was walking his dog and even stopped to let us pet him. Before he left, he even smiled and said "Au Revoir". *Heaven* French guys, yummy. Hahahahahaha.

The École Militaire. It is a vast complex of buildings housing various military training facilities.

Some building.

Champs de Mars.

The train stations housed several large posters. Zac Efron. Haha. =)
