Dinner with Sandy

Hello all!

Made dinner arrangements with Sandy tonight since it was her off day.. Had to send my Mum to CBC last minute and there was a huge jam all the way to Plaza Singapura.. Our reservation was at 630pm and I only arrived then.. Sorry sorry..

Anyway, we walked over to Paradiz Centre for our dinner reservation at Tao's..

The dinner started off with strawberry sorbet presented so beautifully..

And it proceeded on to mushroom cheese gratin with free flow bread..

Our salads came in next.. Mine.. Prawn rolls with pork floss..

Sandy's ham and spud salad.. Spud means potato actually.. Haha..

Next after the salad was a set of grilled mushrooms each..

I chose the Cream of Mushroom soup.

While Sandy who still doesn't like cream soup, chose the shark fin herbal soup..

And this is how they presented the beverages. I chose the Ice Summer Peach Tea while Sandy chose the Ice Rose Apple Tea..

Next up was our main course.. Mine was the Baked Flounder with Cheese.. We were already so full by then with all the previous courses.. But the fish was simply marvelous..

Sandy's Oven Baked Steak which was so tender and fresh..

Finally, the last course.. Chocolate Fondue for me..

And Creme Brulee for her..

By god, we were practically stuffing ourselves.. So many courses, so much food.. O.o And the staff were so friendly and great.. Sandy originally wanted to order the Yang Sheng Pear for dessert but the staff told her that it was more suited for old people's taste and told her to take their signature Creme Brulee instead, and if she didn't like the taste of the CB, he'll change it to the pear at no extra charge..

And guess how much it c0osted in total? $29.80++ for 7 courses! Damn cheap.. And it was a treat from Sandy.. Thank You! Hope you like the dinner.. =)

Wanted to wait for Lisi to finish work but it was too late so we went shopping at Plaza Singapura.. I bought Yui's new CD.. =) And sent her home after that.. We made a wrong turn at Newton (as usual for me) and headed on to Clementi.. -.-' Took us almost 30 mins to get to Toa Payoh.. Muahaha..

Alright, bedtime.. Have to wake up early to meet High Gang at Sentosa.. Can't wait! Good Night!
