I'd just got back from a 3D2N roadtrip to Mount Gambier with Marian, Edwin, Edmund and Sylvester.. It was so pretty and nice! And with the aid of a professional camera from Sylvester, I hereby present you some pretty pictures (along with the lousy ones from mine as well).. Hehe..
Day 1- 7 Dec 2008
We rented a car for our trip and set off around 9am after breakfast..
Edwin was the driver for this trip and Marian was the navigator..
Saw some pretty stunning landscape on our way there.. South Australia is really dry..
And some of us didn't sleep last night so off to dreamland with the "chou chou"..
And some of us are shocked.. Haha..
Stopped over for toilet break and found this quaint little playground..
Haha.. Looks like some potential album cover..
And along the way again, we saw a field of lavendar! Stopped over at the side for a quick picture..
Closer to Mount Gambier were wineries so we decided to pop by one of them, Hollick for some wine tasting.. Quite disappointing actually..
And a pretty rose bush right outside the winery..
I like this picture! Haha.. Cos my thighs look slim here..
The wonders of a professional camera.. Haha..
And the grapevines just stretches on and on and on..
Haha.. Sluts and the pimp!
After 5 hours of driving, we'd reached Mount Gambier!
Our accommodation for the next 2 nights.. We booked a pretty house with 3 bedrooms!
The beautiful living room (with the exception of Sylvester's chou chou).. Haha..
The room with 2 singles which was originally mine and Marian's.. Edwin and Sylvester didn't want to share a bed tgt.. Haha..
Lucky Edmund got the room with the Queen Bed..
And finally, me and Marian took the King Bed.. So comfy.. Electric bed rocks..
Headed out to the main town area to go to Coles to buy some groceries and came back for steamboat dinner in the pretty dining room!
And some after meal activity.. Guitar Heroes and Virtua Tennis 3.. Followed by a movie, Vegas Baby which was basically a soft porn flick (Grr.. Edmund..) with a touching storyline..
And 2 rounds of Cluedo! Finally had a chance to play it..
And Sylvester and Edwin decided to continue eating the steamboat for supper.. Look at the time.. Haha..
Day 2- 8 Dec 2008
The house was absolutely perfect except for one thing- the bathroom.. There was only one bathroom in the whole house and the toilet bowl was located outside of the main house and beside the washing machine area.. So weird.. So after competiting for the usage of the bathroom and Milo Cereal for breakfast, we were off to our first attraction..
Engelbrecht Cave.. Forgot the origin of the cave already.. Something to do with limestone and volcanic ash..
Edwin kept calling Sylvester a "Hong Kong Superstar" and that sorta stuck thruout the trip.. Haha..
Close up shot with the pro camera.. Haha.. Luckily no pimple breakout that day..
Aww.. So sweet.. Haha..
Signed up for the tour and off we went down to the caves..
A solution tube that people use to throw their rubbish down last time..
The clear cold water in the cave that attracted divers that are up to the challenge..
The tour guide helped us to take this picture.. So tiny sia.. Haha..
Looking out from a solution tube..
The cave was completely dark when we entered and the diver appeared the moment the lights were on.. Scared the hell out of me.. Haha..
Next stop is the divinely beautiful Umpherston Sinkhole.. Note the keywords: Divinely Beautiful..
It's a deep hole with a garden built in the middle..
See the guy at the bottom left of the picture? Goes to show how deep it is..
Mr. Photographer's butt.. Haha..
Found this little cave at the back..
I forgot what pose we were supposed to make.. But what the hell.. Haha..
At the bottom!
My matching clothes parther of the day.. Haha..
This was taken from my camera..
This is from Sylvester's.. Haha.. Sharp yet soft.. Nice..
Edmund, don't sit down lehz.. Haha.. But nice backdrop by the way..
Group pic at the bottom before moving on to the cave gardens..
Haha.. He looks so paparazi..
At the lookout in the cave gardens..
Haha.. Playing around while the camera was being set up..
So beautiful.. I'm so tempted to buy a pro camera too..
Smile!
Can you spot Edmund? Haha..
We were wearing matching clothes that day so we decided to take pseudo wedding pictures under the lovely vines.. Haha..
Our lazing spot..
Back home for lunch.. Guitar Heroes and the Sleeping Beauty.. Haha..
Steamboat again! Haha..
Headed to the Blue Lake right afte lunch.. The tour was not in another 45 mins so we went to the various lookouts first..
Nothing has been done to the picture.. Haha.. It is this blue.. Pretty ain't it?
And an acorn I found on the ground and I've brought it home with me now.. Haha..
The lake turns grey in the winter.. Dun ask me why.. I forgot.. Haha..
Pro camera shot! Haha.. I wished I'd brought my shades with me..
During the tour..
Down at the bottom on the surface of the lake itself..
The tour guide turned on the water fountain for us and then appeared this beautful rainbow(s).. So happy!
In the tunnel to take the lift back up..
Moving on to some other lake.. The name has slipped my brain..
Beautiful shots from Sylvester's camera..
Our transportation for the journey..
Another lake..
And we proceeded inside some santuary for the boardwalk.. Spot the aspiring wildlife photogrpaher? Haha..
We're in the middle of a hole!
Haha.. What are you guys doing?
Ba Ba!
Beautiful scenery shots on the top of the hole..
We were supposed to act slutty.. Haha..
Don't mind my face.. I was directly facing the sun.. Haha..
Happy Children! Haha.. This shot sprouted a series of other jumping shots..

Nice eh?! I love these shots so much! And with the help of the pro camera, these shots were taken in just 1 or 2 tries.. If a normal digital camera was used, I think it'll take at least 10 tries per person.. I'm gonna treasure them for life..
Off to the Centenary Tower after that..
Had to climb up this high steep slope to reach our destination.. The guys started talking about NS on the way up..
At the peak.. Beautiful countryside..
Compass..
The tower.. But it was closed.. =( Though it really didn't matter..
I swear this wasn't photoshopped.. Pretty ain't it?
Back home for steamboat dinner again.. Haha.. We bought way too much food.. Then it was some more Guitar Heroes and Virtua Tennis before we decided to watch movies.. Started with American Pool which was so boring we stopped it 10 mins into the movie.. Continued with Rendition.. It was such a scary thriller that I excused myself from it and went back into my room to watch 90210 on my PSP.. Hehe.. Slept around 2am..
Day 3- 9 Dec 2008
Woke up and packed up the whole house before checking out.. Wanted to head to McDonalds for breakfast..

Day 3- 9 Dec 2008
Woke up and packed up the whole house before checking out.. Wanted to head to McDonalds for breakfast..
But they ended up blocking up the entire entrance of the car park.. Turns out they were closed due to renovations..
Celine and Ingrid are back in Melbourne so it's only the four of us left.. =(
Anyway, that's it from me today.. Good Night!
