Warrawong

Hello all!

We went for a field trip yesterday for one of the subjects, Management in Sustainable Tourism to Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary.. Waited outside the Degree buildng for the bus but it didn't come..

Tiara took this picture while we waited for the bus..

Nigel then told us that we had to go out to the main road to wait for the bus and so we walked out..

Took these pictures while waiting for the bus at the main road.. "Beautiful" background eh? I'm not kidding when I said my school and hostel is located in "Jurong Industrial Estate" ok? Haha..

The cheeky me.. Hehe..

The bus ride took damn long because there was a certain speed limit that buses have to follow on the highways.. And after 1 hr, we're finally here!

This ugly fella welcomed us at the entrance.. Haha.. I do not like big birds because they look scary..

The gift shop..

After splitting up into groups of 18, we started off on our nature tour with our guide, Sarah..

This is the plant that gave Australia the inspiration to have green and yellow as the colours for their Olympics uniform.. Forgot its name liaoz.. Haha..

Warrawong used to be a diary farm and this is just the remains of it..

Sarah with this cheeky fellow that came over to us for food..

Our shoes! Amanda, me and Aisah!

This is so cute! It's called a Potteroo! But their numbers are decreasing due to the foxes and cates eating them..

Totally random.. Haha..

The mailbox for letters to Warrawong.. Haha.. Mr. Postman has to climb up a tree to put the letters in.. Nah.. It's a nest/home for the potteroos or any other small animals.. So cute eh?

And two Quack Quacks in our way.. The one with orange legs is a cross-breed! Didn't know ducks could be cross-bred.. Haha..

And some lake where the platypus lives.. It's like 7 meters deep?

Can you spot the platypus? (It's that little white bubble in the middle of the lake)

Tsk Tsk.. Some inconsiderate person threw Twisties in..

Some photos taken by the lake..

Sarah said this was a feeding pond.. But..

we saw this sign right in front of it.. Hmm.. Haha..

The kangeroos!

They commented that I was molesting the kangeroo.. Haha.. Should have put on a cheeky face..

And yes, that was the end of the field trip.. Weather getting warmer nowadays.. Slept with the heater off and fan on.. Flowers are blooming everywhere now.. Haha..

Going to watch the Mummy 3 later! Like finally.. Haha..
