Holidays?

Haven't blogged for a super long time.. Must be the holidays I guessed.. haha.. too much liaoz.. Its back to work for me and time to earn some big bucks man.. haha.. but not really possible since i'm working like oni 4 days a week.. and i oni got 3 comp pass for last month's pay.. *sadded* but i got an interesting weekend.. haha..

Let's start with Friday.. well, the morning was practically used to watch my TVB dramas and i was frantically looking for websites to watch the shows online so i dun have to spend $$ to rent them.. When i was still working at CFJ where the pay used to be better, i used to spend almost $80 to $100 each month renting the TVB shows.. muahaha.. after that went to TM to collect my TVB magazine and buy my dad's birthday present.. almost wanted to get an LCD TV for him cos he's been craving for it for a long time.. (yeah, i know its unbelievable) but when i asked the salesman, there was no size that could fit into the TV rack so yeah.. then i went to Metro.. thought of getting a Luggage set for him since he travels alot for work but they all looked unsuitable so in the end guess what i settled for? A pillow.. -_-' haha.. A microgel pillow with an additional pillow protector.. $64.90 in total.. but yeah i thot it was ok since i hardly get presents for my dad.. and it was considered petite compared to the price of the LCD TV.. haha.. then proceeded to DBS to submit my application for the Capitaland Debit Card.. my mum came to fetch me soon after since it was raining heavily then she, my grandma and my grandaunt went to the club first cos they wanted to check-in the room and go to the jackpot room first..

the rest of my family joined them soon after for dinner to celebrate my uncle's and dad's birthday.. the food was ok but a little expensive but the atmosphere was great in the restaurant and club.. it just underwent a major renovation and lots of new rooms and facilities were built.. after the dinner, my mum went to book a Karaoke room since my family loved to K.. at first i was thinking that these type of Karaoke room would be the old types using laserdisc to play the songs and the sound system was lousy but was i so wrong.. they were using a system similar to KBOX and BMB sound system.. and the room is just too nice.. haha.. like singing in a hotel room.. and furthermore, the songs in the system are all the newest songs.. since my family were mostly aunties and uncles, i took the remote first to play with it and quickly selected my 蔡旻佑, 周杰伦, 罗志祥, 潘玮柏 and 林俊杰 songs.. haha.. overall, quite pleased with the Karaoke there.. will be back soon enough.. my dad, mum, grandma and youngest sister stayed overnight in the chalet room while the rest of us came home..

Saturday.. cabbed to Juliana's house cos i had to bring the steamboat pot and fryer.. i swear the SMRT's taxi meter jumps like every 10 secs lah.. and the uncle was like i give u a flyer, you go internet and try ur luck at our lucky draw.. diaoz.. haha.. threw the flyer immediately after alighting from the cab.. oni Cecilia was there at Juliana's house when i arrived.. she was playing with Juliana's cat, Leilo.. i call it Stitch.. muahaha.. they were also using the laptop to search for a University for Juliana.. and we were also waiting for the NPCC guys' reply whether they were joining us or not.. in the end they couldnt make it so the 3 of us went to White Sands to buy the groceries.. Cecilia and I were going crazy over dumplings and vinegar and Bacardi Breezer as we were shopping.. didnt know there was somebody who could go crazy over dumplings and vinegar and Bacardi Breezer like me!! haha.. and we were spending an awfully long time searching for Tang Hoon.. cos we thot it was at the Bee Hoon section but in the end, it was at the dried food category.. diaoz.. haha.. i paid for everything first and it was $123.70!! omg.. haha.. what did we buy man? gold? haha..

we started preparing the food while waiting for the others to come.. Imaniah came first and very soon, the Liverpool Vs. Man U match was starting and Cecilia, Im, and Juliana's sister's boyfriend propped themselves in front of the TV waiting for the match to start.. when it officially did, Im, Juliana, her sis and me were the only ones at the table already starting to eat.. haha.. still remembered that i was holding my bowl of soup right over the pot taking something when suddenly there was a scream from the living room.. Liverpool or was it Man U almost scored.. and Cecilia was going crazy.. haha.. diaoz.. almost dropped the whole bowl into the soup.. Part 1 of the steamboat ended then we went to play MJ and Im had this piece of paper that helped her translate all the Chinese words.. Juliana had a tummyache and she went to rest while the rest of us played and watch at the same time.. there were a few occasions when one of the teams scored and they were all offside and we were all going excited and then chey.. until finally towards the end, Man U scored and all of us cheered except Cecilia.. haha.. but the atmosphere is there.. haha.. Chuan Yan and Leticia joined us later around 10pm and part 2 of the steamboat began.. then another round of MJ but i had to go so left around 1am.. Chuan Yan and Leticia were complaining of a tummy ache too and i had one too.. must be the food or something.. haha..

Sunday.. went back to work after like 2 weeks? Sharyn bought donuts for us from Vinco- The Donut Parlour.. omg.. they were heavenly.. my new fave man!! haha.. that shop will see more of me very soon.. haha.. was Host for the day.. long time nv worked Host liaoz.. Ling Ling was in the kitchen undergoing kitchen training.. so stood at the door at talked to Aisyah, Hisam Jr and Wayne.. no one want to tell me story lehz.. so sad.. but heard got alot of problems cos of the "changing of schedules".. Aisyah told me to go watch The Pursuit of Happyness as it was kinda sad show and touching too.. and we were crapping all the way until she went home.. muahaha.. it was quite an ok Sunday crowd.. hardly work Sundays actually cos always have Culi the next day.. kinda like working Host cos its so relaxed.. wanna watch Music and Lyrics.. it looks sweet.. haha.. and got that CNY vouchers to use.. haha.. anybody wanna watch too? EOS was quite fast today cos maybe we didt have to fold so many blankets since GC 1 blankets have to wash.. waited for the projectionist to come down.. man, they were so slow yesterday lah.. then cabbed home with Wind and the other projectionist.. and i'm gonna work traditional for the next whole week next week.. Yay!! i miss my maroon uniform.. it's collecting dust..

ok.. gotta go to work soon.. CB closing.. finally.. but the team like cannot make it lehz.. haha.. and i sure kana the sweet popper today one.. sad case sia..
