started work as normal today at 1030am.. nv would i have expected that it would be one the surprising days of my life.. Wei Jun and I were one of the first to arrive so taught him how to do morning stock count.. and GC is starting to sell Orange Juice and Apple Juice at $5 a bottle lah.. and u could simply get it at Giant for $0.75 to $1.50 those type.. omg.. haha.. and we're supposed to pour it in high ball glass.. Ms Goh said we should display it in the cake fridge so at least if customer can see even though its not in the menu.. the moment i put the first bottle in the fridge, Ms Goh and i went eeeee.. the bottle looked so ugly lah.. diaoz.. and the whole fridge looked so bare except for a few flowers and cakes.. after that i went to lay all the blankets for all 3 GC cinemas.. yup.. its all the blankets.. didnt know i have the guts to stay in the cinema all by myself.. haha.. session came in soon after but it was rather slow.. oni got 6 to 8 patrons in total oni.. haha..
then suddenly that dumbo JW walkie-ed up and said that I had a delivery waiting for me at the box office.. at first i thot it wasn't impt then cos i was serving patrons so had no time to go down.. then he said he coming up to replace me and i was supposed to go and receive the delivery immediately cos needed my signature.. diaoz.. so i went down lor.. and gasp! it was a bouquet for pink roses.. i could tell u i was seriously shocked lah.. cos nv received a bouquet of flowers before in such a way.. and cos my locker key was in GC so i had to bring the whole bouquet up past CB, past Europa and past usher point.. so yeah.. everybody could practically see it.. alamak.. paiseh lor.. and i think Theresa was more excited than me about the flowers lah.. seriously she was like going ooh and ahh.. there was a card in it but no name.. so in the end, i took the flowers and put it in the cake fridge since Ms Goh complained that it looked bare.. haha..
well, by the end of the afternoon, the whole GV Vivo knew that i have received flowers.. even ppl who were not working like my Xiao Mei, Yixia and Bernice.. all thanks to that big mouth dumbo JW.. diaoz.. crap man.. so crap.. i should just dig a hole and bury my face there.. haha.. even the Mgrs all knew.. argh~! the following sessions were considered full but not busy so still ok.. dragged Amber to the toilet and actually she asked me to go lung exercise with her but didnt want to cos my cough just recover and as kaypoh and naggy as ever, she asked about the flowers, who gave it and she nagged again about the tables and chairs being too close tgt blah blah blah.. ah ma really is ah ma sia.. can nv stop nagging one.. still say me...
after work, had to go meet Uncle Sim, Fion and Lynn for dinner with JW so actually planned to hurry but in the end stuck in the office cos Ling Ling and Amber were questioning me about the flowers again.. haiz.. and they refused to give me a huge paper bag for me to hide the flowers.. and cos i had to carry my shoe bag and another bag of 2 wine bottles and a nectar juice that Ling Ling gave me.. in the end, asked JW to carry the wine bottle bag for me while i carried the flowers and shoe bag.. diaoz.. and Ms Goh sms-ed me to remind me to bring the flowers home from the fridge.. diaoz.. cabbed there to meet them cos Uncle Sim kept hurrying us cos we were quite late.. haha.. Lynn, Fion and Uncle Sim were there when we arrive.. Lynn was not eating as she had already eaten quite alot before coming and she was going to meet her friend for movie.. but she came and joined us anyway.. Eunice couldnt join us cos her house needed to be painted and she had to go home to look after the place.. actually Bernard was supposed to join us one but cos he was shopping and cutting his hair so he didnt join us in the end.. and Lynn and Fion were like excited over the flowers.. diaoz..
after Steamboat, the four of us went for KBOX cos Fion wanted to go K for very long liaoz.. then since Geswin know the supervisor there, we had a plate of fruits complimentary.. muahaha.. K was fun.. sang alot of Jay Chou songs again and we were like picking songs for JW and Geswin to sing during the CNY dinner.. actually Fion wanted to try asking Ms Goh whether i could go for the CNY dinner cos even though i was a confirmed staff i havent worked at GV for 2 years yet so cannot qualify.. but better not ask lah, if not like unfair to the rest of the staff who also confirmed but have 2 years and cannot go.. and we saying that she gonna help them style their hair on that day and do other funny stuff.. crazy sia.. haha.. i'll most prob be studying on that day lor.. saddened.. haha.. left oni at 3am and all of actually wanted to go and draw $$ cos needed to return JW the $$ for the KBOX and all of us not really enuff cash to take taxi home..
finally told them clearly that we could oni be frens and it definitely felt better now.. but still trying to figure out about the flowers.. who gave it? it had my full name, the person had my HP number and the person also knew that i was working on that day and that time too.. argh~! so hard to guess.. who izzit? and i have a proficiency test tml.. hope that i can pass it.. pray pray pray.. haha..
