Attention Please!

Hello all! Since I'm so slack, I decided to start on another Japanese series, Attention Please.. It's some sort like Triumph In The Skies which is about planes, flight attendants, pilots etc.

Triumph In The Skies!

Attention Please!

The show stars off with the lead, Misaki Yoko, a rough tomboyish girl wanting to be a cabin attendant to impress the guy she likes but ends up falling in love with the job itself and the series basically shows her going through a series of tough trainings courtesy of JAL..

Episode 1

She applies for the cabin attendant job and ends up dressing like this for the interview..

Gods knows how she got through but she did.. Haha..

The Course Commencement Ceremony..

And of cos every class needs a teacher and there she is!

Oh my goodness! Look at how she's dresses for class! It's such a wonder she doesn't get kicked out..

Episode 2

She initially quits the training because she found out the guy she likes actually has a girlfriend but came back because she didn't want to give up on the job..

One day, she helps a senior cabin attendant bring her uniform to the laundry but ends up wearing it.. Haha.. She walks around the airport in the uniform and passengers start to ask her lots of stuff.. For example, the girl below wants to go somewhere but can only speak Chinese but in the end, Yoko helps her and the girl is so grateful to her..

This touches her so much that she decides to remain on the job..

Episode 3

My favourite episode so far.. Talks mainly about emergency training..

I didn't know they had to wear this kind of uniform for emergency training.. Haha..

And some kind of drill briefing..

Yoko goes on to demostrate how to calm passengers down in an emergency with wild hand movements and shouting.. Haha.. I think i'll be freaked out..

Some water training where they had to swim for the raft..

And the slide! No luggage no high heels!

And the final test where they had a mock emergency..

I seriously wanna know how they the raft managed to open up from a rectangular packaging the moment it's dumped on water..

And the raft thing..

They all pass the test!

Most touching moment of all was when they received their uniforms for the first time.. Such a proud moment!

I'm coming!

Yoko wore the uniform wrongly and had lots of excuses for it..

1) Skirt too short- "It'll be easier to do things these way."
2) Hair too messy- "It's fashion."
3) Blazer not buttoned up- "I'm too full from breakfast."

-.-'

Episode 4

They officially start training..

They started off with a tour of an aeroplane..

Spotted something wrong with this cabin attendant? (The newspapers are not at the passengers' eye- level!)

A funny scene.. Yoko went around asking her fellow colleagues if the wanted newspapers..

And she ended up hitting on of them on the head with it.. Haha..

Uniform for meal service..

She split some juice on her colleague and attempted to help her wipe it.. She couldn't find any tissue and started off with the headrest cover.. Haha..

Then she bent down and took a cloth from the drawer of the push cart.. Haha..

A camera crew filmed their training process and initially, they asked her to do stuff that embarrased the company but soon after, she got to her senses and made her stand..

Liked this scene when she told the camera crew off.. In Episode 1, she was asked what is her impression of a cabin attendant; her response was, "They are just people who serve you tea in the skies." Now she tells the camera crew, "Don't look down on cabin attendants." Cool..

Then she tells the camera crew, "Welcome on board this flight, the exit is over there." Muahaha!

So far, I've only watched till Episode 4 but I think it's an interesting show so far.. Will continue with it since it's only 11 episodes long.. Hehe.. More updates soon!
