Sushi Train + Olympics + Happy National Day!

Hello all! The weather has been crazy all day but I love it.. Haha.. Better blog fast since the internet usage clock is ticking off my available MB..

OMG! Cherie, you're the best! Thank You So Much!

Somewhere this week while we were at the reception getting some info on Kangaroo Island.. A flower delivery guy came in with a bouquet and we got all excited asking who the lucky girl is.. Surprisingly, it was for Ingrid from her boyfriend! Haha.. So sweet.. =)

The flowers with a very sweet card!

Friday classes are the best.. We all end at 12pm.. Haha.. The rest of the girls went to the city shopping while I stayed behind on the pretext of doing work but I ended up watching my dramas.. Haha.. Met them a little bit later.. Headed to Chinatown to find my salonpas and chilli padi.. And I found them at a small grocery store.. Along with a packet of Jin Zhen Gu (Enoki Mushroom) that costs A$3.50.. -.-' Singapore sell $0.80- $1 only.. And the chilli padi costs A$1 for about 6-8 pieces only.. Haha..

Then we proceeded to Sushi Train for dinner.. Something like Sakae Sushi with the sushi belt thing.. And all the staff there are Japanese.. Got 6 seats along the belt and started eating!

Sushi Train! The hot tea is free and wasabi comes in packet form so you can take some and bring it home with you.. Haha.. (See the big packet of mushrooms in my plastic bag?)

Sushi! The restaurant is quite tiny.. This is already half of it.. So cute to see angmohs use chopsticks to eat sushi.. Haha..

And this is the other half..

The prices of the sushi.. Damn exp.. Haha..

I hope that tower of plate covers does not fall on Celine sia.. Haha..

Sushi was not bad.. The ingredients quite generous.. My own bill totaled to $20.. Haha..

While waiting for the bus home, we decided to take pictures again.. Haha..

Cheese!

What can I say? They love me.. Muahaha..

After several failed jumping attempts, Aisah and I just gave up on jumping.. Haha..

Back to our rooms to prepare for the big night tonight.. Going to watch the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony in Paulina's room.. The girls bought lots of snacks and drinks 2 days ago and we brought it all over to her room at 9pm stationed for the opening.. Haha..

All of us in PJs.. Haha.. I love hostel life.. Haha..

The opening ceremony was just wow! All of us were counting down together and the effects were really good sia.. We were in praises of the opening ceremony.. Then the countries started streaming out and we were all cheering for each other's.. John came up to join us and he ordered pizza for us.. Waited damn long for Singapore to come out sia.. Becos they go according to the strokes of the country's Chinese names and we counted that Singapore had 12 strokes so it was one of the last.. Haha.. And we all cheered for one common country, Australia! Haha..

The lighting of the torch part was damn excellent! Oh well.. Good luck Singapore! Please bring back a medal this year ok?

Oh.. And by the way, Happy National Day!
