Hello all!

A pictorial post this time around.. Super sleepy now as I couldn't get to sleep yesterday night.. Haha..

Class was pretty alright.. Nigel let us watch the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics again but only a short clip.. Speaking of Olympics, I heard Singapore got a Silver Medal this time around.. Yay! Congrats! And Phelps is still dominating the pool.. Haha..

Anyway, here's a peek at the area that I live in and it's surroundings.. Took these while waitng for Paulina & Aisah to get ready..

The football field just in front of my block..

And that is not a basketball court.. It's just a basketball board.. Haha..

And this is the block I stay in.. My room is up on the second level on the left where the aircon generators are..

This is where I usually top up my water bottle at.. And that's the housekeeping trolley..

This is the tree that I can see directly from my room window.. I dunno why but I particularly love looking at it.. Maybe because it's so tall and magnificant..

The way to school.. That building in front is where the Year 1-3 students have their culinary and service classes..


The lower building on the right is where I have all my classes at.. And the red thing in front of it is the postbox..

This is where the normal classes are normally held.. Library is also up here..

Some courtyard that I've never used and only walked by twice..

And my student ID card.. Hehe..

Went shopping with the 2 girls.. At first I was just accompanying them as I just needed to get new slippers becos the ANIMAL slippers that I got 306 to accompany me to buy all the way at Vivo broke a long long time ago.. -.-' Haha.. But I'm not going to throw it away becos it's so comfortable! Going to get some superglue and glue it back tgt..

Anyway, speaking of not buying anything.. In the end, I bought 2 pullovers, 1 light sweater, 1 pants, 1 big bar of Cadbury Creme Brulee chocolate, 1 set of 5 books and a new pair of slippers.. =p Saw Celine & Ruby in the city too.. Adelaide is just so tiny.. Haha..

We sat down at Gloria Jean's for some iced chocolate and rest.. But not forgetting pictures as well.. Haha.. Now I realise how tiny my eyes actually are..

Yum Yum.. Cadbury special series chocolates! Singapore don't have de wor.. Haha.. Anybody want me to mail over some?

Headed over to Target and Remi came to pick us up for dinner.. Parked and walked over to a Thai restaurant called Nu Thai..

Enviroment was pretty good.. Tip for travellers to Adelaide: Always reserve a table when dining outside on Friday nights because everywhere is crowded! Haha..

Followed by Thai Chilli Beef, Green Chicken Curry and Pad Thai!

Not forgetting the lovely chilli padis!

Food was really good! Paid about A$22 per person.. Quite a number of restaurants around here but I haven't seen one from Singapore yet.. However, there was a Singapore Delights stall in a food court.. Maybe I'll try it soon..

Back to Remi's car.. I came up with another phrase all of a sudden about Singlish.. It goes like this, "Everybody can learn a Western Accent, but not everybody can learn to speak like a Singaporean". Cool right? Haha.. Be proud, Singaporeans!

Off to collect Aisah's watch from the city.. We actually forgotten about it.. Haha.. Then it was off to the movies! Kyri joined us there..

Wallis Cinemas at Micham Square.. Kinda reminds me of Marina Square..

The box office.. Only one counter open.. ZzZzZ.. No midnight movies in this cinema.. The guy checked our IDs.. It was a MA 15+ movie or our Singapore NC16.. Haha..

The Candybar! I can't imagine if GV staff wear tie and vest and work at CB sia.. Haha.. I'll die first sia.. Some interesting facts to know about the popcorn.. Only one flavour: Salted.. (Now you all know why angmohs like to eat salted popcorn le mahz?) The popper/ warmer is never emptied at the end of the day! Haha.. We saw it when leaving the cinema and the candybar was closed for the day le.. Eeww.. Popcorn not fresh de..

The movie ticket.. Like Shaw like that.. Paper kind.. Original Price was $15 but got a major discount with Aisah's discount coupons and student concessions..

The movie was super good! Not a boring moment throughout but it's a rather disturbing film.. About the guy's daughter being abducted by a gang who specialises in trafficking women.. I was quite traumatised by the storyline that I couldn't sleep the whole night.. Haha..

Headed for supper afterwards.. Went to a cafe called Spats Cafe.. I kinda miss the Singaporean suppers.. Eating steamboat and pratas.. Haha..

Sticky Date Pudding.. I like the design of the sauce dressing they put at the side..

The guys kept taking pictures of us.. Haha.. All the bright flashes..

The company yesterday night.. Kyri, Remi, Me, Paulina & Aisah..

Stayed there chatting until about 1am and Remi sent us all home.. The house downstairs was making so much noise again and even the security alarm went off.. Goodness!

Some Five on Five soccer match that was going on in the field opposite.. Ingrid and I sat down on our living room floor and got a perfect view of the whole match.. Haha.. But quite boring sia.. Gave up after watching the 1st half.. Dunno who won in the end.. Haha..
