Last Entry for Some Time.

Hello all!

I actually had no intention to blog but seeing that I'm about to start work, I think I'd better before the next entry becomes 6 months later. Haha.

At the end of June, we celebrated Beilin's 22nd birthday at the NYDC in Holland Village. It took Cherie exactly 1 month to upload these photos. LOL.

HIGH visited Universal Studios Singapore a day after the June school holidays but there were still so many kids! Thank goodness Vincent was working and he gave us complimentary Universal Express tickets. Overall the park was quite good. I think it will be even better once everything is opened.

Wei Lun has left for his studies in Australia. =( We went for a Dim Sum High Tea and our last K session. Hope you're doing well over there friend!

It's time for all the NS boys to go overseas. Even Shaun has gone off to New Zealand to do his studies. Hope you're doing fine over there too!

HIGH met up for a very impromptu (again) dinner at Dian Xiao Er followed by a K session which was more of a Monopoly Deal session. LOL.

That little stint with Damean was a good experience but it wasn't for me.

The start of my birthday celebrations. Dinner with Sin Hwee at Riverview Hotel's Ikidori. The food is super good and the price is quite worth it too. Free flow sashimi. Nothing else can beat that.

Thank you bitch for the treat at Tao's!

Visited Universal Studios again for the Lake Hollywood Spectacular. Basically you only need to pay $5 to enter the park after 7pm every Friday and Saturday. You get to eat, shop and watch a fireworks show after that. Worth it right? Thanks girls for the wonderful night!

HIGH went to the Marina Barrage for a picnic and kite flying. We got to watch the National Day rehersal too. It was a fun day.

A few days later, we met up again to go to Johor Bahru. Beilin's and Sarah's first time there. Haha. Got to eat Nando's and Jang Won again.

A very impromptu (again) dinner at the PS Cafe. Food and atmosphere was WOW. Definitely would be back.

Brought the girls over to CBC for a swim followed by a Dim Sum lunch in Changi Village.

Yanqi's birthday celebration at Barracks@Dempsey House. Very quick change of date due to my very impromptu trip to Wuhan.

And here's Wuhan. Went to visit my father. Crazily hot but great attractions. I even watched 4 movies when I was there. LOL.

2 days after I came back, went for a movie marathon with Tai Tai. 5 movies in total. From opening to EOS. It was crazy. Haha.

The Tai Tai needed to buy a new home for her Xiao Ke Ai so we headed to IKEA with Wayne who needed to get some home stuff. And again, impromptu dim sum, beancurd and porridge for supper at Sembawang Chalet. LOL.

The most recent activity would be Yin Yin's visit to Singapore. I hope I had been a good tour guide. :)

I'm going to be starting on my new job with SATS as a Trainee Officer next week. It's going to be tough but I'm stoked to be working in the airport again. Haha.

Ok, this is the end for now. I hope to have exciting stuff happening soon!

What Happened in 3 Months.

Hello all!

Wow, this is getting bad. No updates for almost 3 months. I shall try to improve. Haha. But there were lots of interesting stuff happening these few months. Here we gooooooo.

On the 3 April, I met Cherie and Beilin for dinner and movie, When In Rome at Vivocity. Dunno why the rest of the group couldn't attend.

The next day, it was brunch at Dempsey Hill with Colleen, Yong Xing, Amber and Averlyn. I think we originally wanted to go to Bishan Park but it was raining. Oh, and that little baby has sure grown. Hahaha.

And finally, the most exciting part of April- A holiday to Japan with Wayne & Bernice! It was so much fun! Won't go into much details here but you can see more pictures on my Facebook. =)

On the 23 April, we went to Crytal Jade to celebrate Paulina's 22nd Birthday.

Pei Ting came to Singapore for a short business trip and we met on 1 May. Decided to go see the new Marina Bay Sands. It was crowded, hot and not very ready when we went. Hmm, I would rather go RWS.

Edmund held his wedding on 3 May at a restaurant in Clarke Quay. Congratulations!

And on 4th May, we celebrated Sarah's belated birthday at Timbre@Substation. We got the seats right in front of the band and boy was it awkward. I'd much prefer a seat at the back without having to engage with the band.

On 8th April, HIGH visited the Science Centre for the much anticipated Pixar Exhibition. It was fantastic and out of this world! Totally mind blowing!

My grandma's Japanese friend came to visit and we put him up at the Hard Rock Hotel in Sentosa. The hotel itself had a rockish vibe with a similarly cool room and a great great pool!

Brunch at Red Star with 306 to celebrate Wei Lun's birthday followed by an outing to the Botanic Gardens for phototaking. It was a hot hot day.

A trip to Alaska and Canada to end of May 2010.

HIGH went for some outdoorzy activity at East Coast Park on 12 June. Our colour combination that day was coool.

Paulina organised a BBQ session at Andrew's on 19 June. It was a hell lot of fun. And we all got one of Andrew's friends totally drunk. LOL.

Alright, that basically sums everything up. I hope to do more entries soon. But I do need to find a job too. Oh, and I'm turning 22 in less than a month's time. Booooooo. =(

Happy April's Fool!

Hello all!

No update for a whole month. I rock. LOL. I felt like closing this blog down but I can't bear too. Heh. Alright, lemme sum everything up.

So, Chinese New Year was a blast. I miss Soju. =(

Little gathering with 306 at the airport.

And of course, my dear HIGH. I think I lost a lot of money on this day. Hahaha. Stupid game.

Celine stopped over in Singapore and we finally got to meet up at Morton's Bar. =) Oh, they have this promotion going on right now. Order a martini for $11++ and get free flow of steak sandwiches from 5- 7pm on Monday- Fridays.

And it was off to Taiwan for a week in early March. Finally got a chance to do a round the country. The tour guide was great but the tour leader was bad. Won't mention which company but heard he got fired.

A few days back from Taiwan, booked an impromptu trip up to Malaysia to visit Yin Yin with Shi Jing. Visited Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands and Penang. Since we had relatives there, paid them a visit too.

And finally, my first trip with HIGH down to Johor Bahru. Lots of fun. Wasted a whole morning at Danga City Mall after being misled by it's fascinating website, then moved over to Neway for K and to celebrate Daddy's, Mummy's and Georgie's birthday. Finally ended the day with a wonderful Korean spread and being dumped in the middle of the highway by the cab driver.

OK, so this is my life so far. Haha. Will really try to update more often. Until then.
In The Eye of the Beholder. Funny.

A Fistful of Stances. Definitely worth watching.

Chinese New Year 2010!

Hello all!

Sorry for the lack of updates. I just like to do them all at once. Haha. Still bored at home and waiting for a job. Growing fat too.

And of course, let me start of by wishing everybody a very prosperous Chinese New Year!

One night, I got pretty hungry. So after a little conversation with Cherie on MSN and calling Beilin along, we set off for Jalan Kayu for prata.

Yum. The briyani's only 2 bucks.

And a little camwhoring to end the night. Let's do this more often!

On Sunday, finally met the Orangs for our CNY reunion dinner at 7th Storey at Wilkie Edge . It's quite good actually. Pretty cheap too. Like $16.80 with unlimited drinks and cooked food.

Xue Min brought her polaroid camera along and thus those 2 cute little photos. Got some stranger to take a photo for us.

Didn't know where to go after dinner so we ended the night at Mind's Cafe. If you ever go there, go try the Imagineiff game. Damn fun. Cabbed home with Shaun, Jolyn and Hui Ying after that.

Monday night. Dinner with the ICHM peeps at Aston's and dessert at Mr. Bean's Cafe (Horrible Place). Much catching up. =D

On Tuesday, woke up real early and went down to Redhill for the RWS Recruitment Drive. But it was a total waste of my time because they were only hiring basic entry level positions. =( On Wednesday, met up with Yang Ying at Chinatown for lunch and a little shopping. =)

And just yesterday, met up with Wayne and Yongxin for a movie at Vivo. Highly recommended!

And to Chinatown to join in the festivities. So many many people.

Dim Sum Dinner. The food was really good but the service was bad. Nobody seemed to give a hoot about us. And the server mistakenly placed a wrong order but he blamed it on us that we pointed the wrong one to him. Well, if he had repeated the order, it wouldn't have happened. Right?

The pretty night lights of Chinatown and the excellent features on Wayne's camera. We really wanted to have some dessert after that but couldn't find a place that was still openend until we bumped into Yanqi and she brought us to it. Mango Madness!!

Me Love HIGH. =)

New TVB show- My Better Half.

Ok, off to my reunion dinner. BYE!
